Partner Profile: Dominique River

Dominique River now lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband Greg and two young daughters. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and is a dual Dutch and American citizen. Since moving to Cleveland in 2006, Dominique has co-chaired the auction committee for the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes’ biannual summer gala, chaired the auction committee chair for the spring fundraising event at Ruffing Montessori School, and is involved in starting a Dutch-American group in Cleveland.

Dominique’s earlier career includes leading the global field compensation and international benefits group at Robert Half International, consulting for Towers Perrin, and teaching college-level courses in management, business plan writing and business ethics. Since joining CSVP in 2009 she has put her teaching skills to use by volunteering as a business plan coach with E CITY. She has been a great asset to the E CITY Volunteer Team working on collaborations with Mary Bright.  Dominique also served on the 2009 Investment Team, and has enjoyed meeting and working with other CSVP partners. "When I moved to the area, a new friend told me about CSVP and told me that through this organization I would meet some of the most amazing people in Cleveland,” she says. “What an eclectic, talented and generous group. I am proud to be a part of this tradition."
