The changing landscape of Cleveland’s urban core is a problem and an opportunity.
Rid-All Green Partnership has turned an empty and forgotten piece of land in Cleveland’s Kinsman Neighborhood into an urban farm that grows produce to bring healthy, local food to area institutions and citizens. Join us to learn how the tapestry of initiatives around Cleveland fits within the nationwide movement of sustainable communities linking social justice to environmental policy.
G. Keymah Durden, III.,one of three co-founders of Rid-All Green Partnership, will share how his organization helps people get in touch with the land to make a palpable difference in the lives of neighborhood residents.
Angela Park, founder/executive director of Diversity Matters in Vermont, will provide the national perspective to look at sustainable agriculture and food systems with a broad lens to engage burgeoning groups and a broad constituency.
